Research links children’s psychological problems to prolonged screen time | Society | The Guardian.
Look, forget all the research and libertarian counter-argument – it stands to reason that kids sedentary in front of TV is not good on so many fronts.

Good kids sedentary is a bad thing. Bad kids can’t be sedentary enough for me – preferably in a gaol cell with all the video games they want.
And even if I am wrong (it has been known) dealing with such issues is for parents and the extended family – and any gym teachers or other coaches they choose to employ – not politicians or “public health” officials.
