In case anyone thought I was exaggerating in my last post, I took this photo on my way to a (superb) Italian meal last night. Today, it’s on to the Grand Canyon. Farewell Nevada, hello Arizona.

I haven’t been to Vegas, but there’s a carbon copy of this canal setup in the Venetian in Macau, complete with Chinese families being serenaded by Chinese gondoliers. Utterly bizarre.
