THE LAST DITCH

When it comes down it it, they just don't like us humans very much do they? And before you tell me he makes valid environmental points with great talent, yes I agree. But his nasty character is not called "aspects of man", he's called "Man". Which makes the artist a man in search of "New Man."

We know where that leads.

Tom, I don’t think it really makes honest, points at all, what it does is cherry pick issues and exagerate them so much for effect they are, by sleight of hand, no longer really the truth, but lies, like that movie ‘an inconvienient “truth”‘.
To me it is more like propaganda for a personal and political point of view. I guess the label “Man” is generic and plural to take in all mankind.

It makes you wonder about the mindset of people that go on to become greeNazis. How does one get to become like that?

Tom is a retired international lawyer. He was a partner in a City of London law firm and spent almost twenty years abroad serving clients from all over the world.

Returning to London on retirement in 2011, he was dismayed to discover how much liberty had been lost in the UK while he was away.

He’s a classical liberal (libertarian, if you must) who, like his illustrious namesake, considers that

“…government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one.”
