THE LAST DITCH

More than 50 readers were kind enough to reply to my questionnaire. I think there may be a problem (as always with blogging) that this was a self-selected group of enthusiasts as they were far kinder than I would have been myself. I shall ponder and seek to improve. The graph (click to enlarge) shows what respondents thought about the content. I shall certainly take the advice about Second Life to heart.

I am surprised that anyone complained that you blog too much about SL, since you do it so rarely and when you do it usually has a purpose.
I’m conscious of not blogging too much about it since most don’t understand my interest, although with a featured guest reporter from SL, it does happen more frequently than here. But I figure the readers can just skip right on by, as they do with any other post which doesn’t interest them.
I don’t think the occasional SL post is going to drive your dedicated readers away TP, even those who said enough already, so I say just carry on as before. I for one will be interested.

Tom is a retired international lawyer. He was a partner in a City of London law firm and spent almost twenty years abroad serving clients from all over the world.

Returning to London on retirement in 2011, he was dismayed to discover how much liberty had been lost in the UK while he was away.

He’s a classical liberal (libertarian, if you must) who, like his illustrious namesake, considers that

“…government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one.”
