THE LAST DITCH

Ambush Predator: Just When You Think They've Sunk As Low As They Can Go….

I have nothing to add to JuliaM's uncharacteristically restrained comments on this horror story. I can imagine what torment it is to this poor man. To know his son is "out there" and in desperate need of his loving care, but to be denied all contact. It is sadism. Not to be allowed to take him in and care for him. Not even to be allowed to see him. To know that he would never have been told, had he not been the only suitable organ donor! That he would have been kept in the dark about his son, as his son is being kept in the dark about him.

It would make a stone cry, but not – apparently – the statist scum who run our country. All natural feelings of family, love and care are alien to them. The words exist only to be twisted, distorted and spun for application as camouflage to the grinding processes of tyrannical power. The processes that allow losers like them to control the lives of millions and spend half of their wealth.

When you hear some smug leftist say "it takes a village to raise a child", remember this story. What they really mean is "your child is ours, to raise as we think fit." Tom Harris, do you understand yet, you insufferably arrogant man? You and your like – with your Marxian fantasies of community – are responsible for this misery.

It is not about Michael at 50 having shagged a woman aged 29 then. The gift she gave him of love he rejected. She was a drunk he says, he was a man. He could cure her. Every man can cure their wives. But this is the Princes’ Trust way of life. This is the Libertarian world. No wonder when she realised she was pregnant she wanted him to have nothing to do with her child. The soul killer. How apt then that he married an American Christian (did he shag her first to see if they were compatible too?) who teaches people to wear superficial masks.
You don’t get to the beginning Tom.

So what’s your point, Kinderling? Because he conceived his son out of wedlock, the state is entitled to keep him? I am genuinely puzzled. Enlighten me, please.

I don’t know the ins and outs of the ECHR but if article 8(Right to respect for private and family life) doesn’t give a child the right to know his/her own parents what the hell is it for.

“Because he conceived his son out of wedlock, the state is entitled to keep him?”
I did not pose this question. The question I presented is, is this man fit to raise a child?
Casual sex from fifty year old man with a 29 year old vulnerable alcoholic. So obvious – you cannot treat women like a bar of candy.
“At first I didn’t think of having a relationship with her because, at 29, she was much younger than me. But she was bubbly and got on well with the boys. It was only after a few months that I realised she was unstable and had a drink problem. She would swear in front of the boys and I ended the relationship.” Sexing an unstable person, who’d a thunk?
That’s how you get AIDs. And that’s how one of his sons sleeps with her – by example.
In your libertarian world I have to pay for more Social Services, abortion clinics and STD clinics. Thank you so much for getting outraged. We can all sleep safe on your watch. Put on your mask on the 5th.

I feel sorry for the spouse, for what she bought into: Older kids, mortgage near completion, a man to herself whilst she plays paganism, and then to discover a hidden infant that needs her husband’s loins once more.
“Michael and Alex married a few months after meeting and settled down to a domestic routine, enjoying rounds of golf, games of bowls, trips to the cinema and regular visits to church.”
Boy he’s quick. Wonder what they teach her in church.
There is no matter here concerning the boy: he gives over his organ.
But he puts on a condition: No boy no organ. There should have been no hesitation, no intellectual double thought.
So I ask the question: should he bring the child up into his likeness so we have years down the line another Social Services involved? Probably not. Because he’s got involved and married another female even more nutty than the last,(because she believes she is sane, the other knew she had a problem). I don’t think a child needs that in a month of Sundays.

Tom is a retired international lawyer. He was a partner in a City of London law firm and spent almost twenty years abroad serving clients from all over the world.

Returning to London on retirement in 2011, he was dismayed to discover how much liberty had been lost in the UK while he was away.

He’s a classical liberal (libertarian, if you must) who, like his illustrious namesake, considers that

“…government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one.”
