THE LAST DITCH

Only two-thirds of the population think that the British Government lies about crime figures. Think how much effort Nigeria’s conmen could save if they had the email addresses of the other third.

    Too true!
Though I find they are mainly Burkina Faso.
Of course they hide it. Rising crime is a symptom of social collapse. They don’t want to admit they really have no ideas how to stop that.
Remember ‘Tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime ‘?
They soon shut up about the first, now it’s all about the second.

Posted on this, and my utter sense of despair over the blatant Cash for Peerages ending in nothing. If there is nothing to hide, publish the submission to the CPS by John Yates, I would rather buy that than Alistair Campbell’s book.

Violent crime is rising according to the governments own figures. They not surprisingly focus on overall levels.

Tom is a retired international lawyer. He was a partner in a City of London law firm and spent almost twenty years abroad serving clients from all over the world.

Returning to London on retirement in 2011, he was dismayed to discover how much liberty had been lost in the UK while he was away.

He’s a classical liberal (libertarian, if you must) who, like his illustrious namesake, considers that

“…government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one.”
