That would be far less depressing than it being real as it would suggest there is some guttering flame of entrepreneurship, initiative and political killer instinct in what I had written off as the work shy, policy-thieving ranks of the Blair-imitating "Conservatives."
I’m afraid they’re probably just projecting, because it’s the sort of thing they’d have no problem doing.

I think this man asks an important question. Surely “because everyone does it” is the worst possible reason you can give for anything. And why should he have to get up early in the morning? That’s the kind of thing that killed Descartes.
Someone going to the pub and playing pool with their friends is contributing more to society and the world than your average office worker.
