It’s a great tool but it is too easy to abuse. Here for example is a graph that largely contradicts yours for no obvious reason. I fear people will use nGram to confirm and justify their preconceptions. The presenter’s remark about Reagan being a prime example.

I tried one on lowercase liberty against security.

Liberty starts high and goew low against security that starts low and goes high.

Well, enlarging it and observing, it’s pretty clear what it’s saying, tom. And yes, it is correct.
