THE LAST DITCH
I am writing this in Zurich airport, while I wait for my connection back home to Moscow. Here’s the view from my seat on the flight here. Normal service will be resumed when I have had a proper night’s sleep.
Is there a still ragged cheer as the planes take off from the runway at Moscow?
(I was going to say Sheremetyevo but I notice that BA go to Domodedovo now when I looked up how to spell it).

Tom is a retired international lawyer. He was a partner in a City of London law firm and spent almost twenty years abroad serving clients from all over the world.
