There are 4 questions, each with 2 possible answers. Hence there are 16 possible sets of answers. There are (having tried them all) only 8 “psychological clusters”.
They could do this single classification (ie with no measure of certainty, second choice etc) with only 3 two-way questions.
I’d ask for a 25% discount if I were you.
[And yes, I am a boring pedant who thinks too much about entropy (“removal of” that is, as the alternative answer to 42), and who really should be doing something else.]
    Best regards

Of course these questions don’t give an in depth view of your personality but just a general indicator in such as it groups you with similar minded people. Although there is undoubtably a lot of truth in the answers. I look at the ones I get and see a lot of myself in there but sometimes there is a bit that clearly needs qualifying. When put together by professionals the more questions the more accurate it becomes.
Years ago I worked for a firm who tested you every year and used the test results when they were working out where your training would be. After a few years of going through this I became a firm believer in these tests. If I remember there were around 75 questions and it got me spot on. The bit I find confusing, even after reading books on it, is how they can calculate how others see you.
As a total aside, you changed something on this blog about a fortnight ago and since then I can’t get the main body up on my works computer. I can only see your complete blog from my home system now.

This is a bastardised version of the MBTI indicator, which is a much longer test with decades of research behind it.

Tom is a retired international lawyer. He was a partner in a City of London law firm and spent almost twenty years abroad serving clients from all over the world.

Returning to London on retirement in 2011, he was dismayed to discover how much liberty had been lost in the UK while he was away.

He’s a classical liberal (libertarian, if you must) who, like his illustrious namesake, considers that

“…government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one.”
