When a politician calls off an investigation into allegations of corruption on apparently spurious grounds, surely voters are entitled to be curious as to the real reason?

    This one is going to get really interesting. In contrast with the other investigation on honours this one is over a worldwide money laundering issue. It could have implications for his bolt hole in the US.
